Step 1: Add your business details
Start with your business or legal name, address, email, and phone. If you have a tax ID (EIN, VAT number, GSTIN, ABN), include it — many clients require it for their records.
Upload your logo if you have one. Branded invoices look more professional and are harder to ignore.
Step 2: Enter client information
Add your client's company name, billing contact, and address. Double-check spelling — invoices sent to the wrong department delay payment.
Include a purchase order (PO) number if your client provided one. Enterprise clients often require it.
Step 3: List line items and amounts
Describe each product or service clearly. Instead of 'consulting,' write 'March 2026 — Website UX audit (12 hours)'.
